Ok, so let’s be realistic not many of us can afford to splurge on a completely new wardrobe, but there are some minor adjustments to be done to ensure that your wardrobe is up to par for the new year. Instead of adding to your wardrobe, removing things may be the first step in completely revamping your look! Here are some trends we must say goodbye to for 2015 and possibly for GOOD!

over done cut-out dresses are extremely tired! Although, Jennifer Lopez does no wrong it is rare that a cutout below the waist is ever flattering. It is awkward and does not look like there is much room for movement.
DOUBLE-SLITS need to GO! They have bee exhausted in 2014 and need to be laid to rest for the New Year. Opt out for a high-slit skirt or dress instead
There are many ladies who wear it well, but the looks has had its run.
High-waisted denim cut-offs or “janties,” have been a festival and summertime staple for years. Not only are these pants mighty uncomfortable with the constant pulling down, but they are not as flattering on every shape. Opting out for a short short with some more coverage are more comfortable and more flattering.
Full on nomcore. Nomcore was big in 2014 and I trust it will be present in 2015 but the look full on does not work for just anyone. Mixing nomcore with some more feminine form fitting clothing is the way to go ladies.
Tis’ the season to break out your ‘ugly sweaters,’ but lets be honest who wants to really walk around with a sweater cluttered with garland and ornaments on Christmas. Even on Christmas, I stick to my usual black grey white. These sweaters are perfect for any girl who is not into color, like myself. The best of both worlds! You get to uphold the Christmas theme without forsaking your fashion sense. Both of these sweaters retail for under $50 bucks on amazon and are available for expedited shipping. Amazon is a goldmine for any last minute shoppers in search of a Christmas sweater.
Just a little inspiration just in time for Christmas! Happy Holidays!

Didn’t watch the show but I couldn’t keep my eyes off of the red carpet, here is a recap of my favorite looks from the American Music Awards!
Kendall Jenner looked amazing and was my best dressed tonight in her sheer Yigal Azrouel dress.
Legs on legs on legs tonight. Whoever sent out the high slit memo the fashion world and every red blooded american man who was stuck watching the red carpet with his lady THANKS YOU! Fergie in Halston Heritage
Jordin Sparks got the high slit memo is this beautiful bronze Halston Heritage dress
Kate Beckinsale looked ravishing in this white Kaufmanfranco dress.
Ever since Nicki has toned down her look she has been killing red carpet after red carpet. This Alexander Wang number paired with her Manolo Blanik pumps was perfection.
It would not be fair if I did not show the men of the AMAs any appreciation. Nick Jonas looked very
dapper in his suit, boy has this Jonas brother grown up!
Thanksgiving is right around the corner ladies and if you are anything like me you feel like you have NOTHING to wear! There is always that struggle between wearing my sweats to the dinner table and making thanksgiving a production and having to find an outfit that will not have my family looking at me like I’m worthless. Here is an idea ladies, this is close to what I will be wearing this Thanksgiving if I decide to get out of my pajamas!
Good Luck with the outfits girls. The key to any Thanksgiving outfit is comfort. The biker leggings and boots automatically fancy up the white relaxed fit V-neck, and if you get your V-neck a little roomier it will hide the food baby you will be carrying by the time desert rolls around.
Until next time,

We may not be able to have Bey’s body, but we will be able to workout in clothes by her in the near future!
Beyoncé has entered into a 50-50 partnership with the British retailer Topshop and will be releasing a line of athletic clothing and footwear listed as Parkwood Topshop Athletic LTD. “I could not think of a better partner as I continue to grow the Parkwood business. I have always loved Topshop for its fashion credentials and forward thinking,” said Beyoncé in a statement released by her and her camp. There line is set to be released sometime in 2015…
I am not sure how excited you ladies are but if there are any of those fab one pieces she wears on tour I want all parts of it. This new line can inspire all of us to get our Sasha Fierce on at the gym! I am so excited to see what this line looks like!
I’m not sure if everyone remembers quite like I do, but Rihanna teased us all in September when she stepped out in an outfit from the A Wang x HM collection, two whole months before it was set to be released to be public. Rihanna, left us all dying to see the rest of the collection. October 16th Wang, took it uptown with a star studded fashion show and unveiled the full collection. The collection will be on sale November 6th in stores and online. This line gives me Nomcore meets Goth at the gym!

October 20, Dominican fashion designer and icon Oscar de La Renta passed away at the age of 82, from cancer. Before, creating his ready-to-wear label in 1965 De la Renta began making a name for himself when he dressed Jacqueline Kennedy, who is arguably the BEST DRESSED first lady along with Michelle Obama. De la Renta has dressed first ladies and been a red carpet favorite for decades. De la Renta will truly be missed and has what I consider one of the best and most memorable fashion careers.

These were some of my favorite De la Renta looks, his mark in fashion will live on and he will be missed.
